Default Sometimes fate DOES smile on me

Last year I did the photography for friend's wedding. As a thankyou she gave me a gift card for Jessops camera shop. It was a nice thought, but since their range is limited I hadn't managed to find something to spend it on. I, at last, decided to buy a couple of camera bags (small one and a backpack one), but kept putting off deciding exactly which one. I was going to definitely do it yesterday, but was leaving the purchase until the end of my day... and forgot.

I don't normally go into town on a Sunday as my weekly bus pass runs out on a Saturday, but this week it runs out on the Sunday so it wasn't going to cost me anything. I decided to force myself to go in as I had heard that Jessops was having finance issues and so was worried that they might suddenly close. I chose my 2 bags, went to the till and noticed a sign "30% off Lowepro bags - ends Monday". Whoo-Hoo!! - so instead of pretty much spending it all, I still have 30-odd quid. All I have to do is quickly work out what to buy with it :-)

Well done Louise, that's a result. Perhaps a polarising filter if you haven't already got one.

We will of course need some pictures for your "My Equipment" thread.

Yep, I was thinking about a filter - but as I said - their stock is limited. I think I'm going to have to actually spend some real money
