    lovely shot, I think these birds are beautiful looking. A few weeks back my hubby & I clocked one in a tree, he then came to the ground & was hopping around etc, he didn't seem at all bothered by us being stood there which surprised us..

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
