    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    Default red damselfly i.d. please.

    is this a large red damselfly? the colours and markings aren't as vivid as the one beryl posted in a previous thread. im not much of an expert when it comes to this subject!! it was seen near to leighton moss rspb

    It looks like a large red damsel female but it has the wrong coloured thorax and eyes unless they vary

    thanks beryl, i had a google myself... but this did'nt look like any of the pictures so was still unsure.
