I didn't take too many shots - I wanted to enjoy myself with the beer and the people, but here are one or two.
It has been growing year by year, but I think it maybe too big now. A group of us always take a day off, so being there when it opens means we always get a table, but when I left at 5pm, there the entrance was closed as it was too full (and it had another 6 hours to go yet, and all the people coming after work to arrive still!).
Shot 1 - my oter half, me with camera and friend Duncan are reflected in Steves Glasses.
Shot 2 - Choosing beer is a SERIOUS business - and takes at least 3 people.
Shot 3 - how crowded it became by the afternoon (it starts 11 am)
Shot 4 - the hog roast tent has a queue and the Mexican stall has no-one. Swine flu may not have kept us away from pork, but eating Mexican is a risk too far :-) Actually, it's a vegetarian stall, so it never gets as full, but why ruin a good joke :-) (**note the name of the hogroast tent - jsut right for this web-site!)
Shot 5 - each year they produce a new glass to use, the common theme being the lion (due to a lion statue in the central (Forbury) park often being a symbol of the town).
