    Default Swan - River Severn

    Swan - River Severn

I found this on my PC yesterday while looking for a photo to make a birthday card with.

I took this by the river Severn, Worcester last year. I can't remember that we had a summer last year?

    I agree with Rolf. It's a beauty
It would also make a super card.

    Cheers

When I did that "shoot" I was totally underwhelmed with the results of the day. Reviewing them with fresh eyes yesterday I could see potential in a few of the shots.

Perhaps my tweaking in PhotoShop is better than it was last year (less is more) although the above image has only been cropped, a slight curve adjustment and the swan has had a USM applied (unsharp mask sharpening).

I some times use unsharp mask. Never us sharp for a photo tough

Really nice shot - and very unusual. It's hard to get an interesting shot of swans as it's all been done before, but this is really qute nice.
