I bought anther tripod. Not sure which I want to keep at myson’s house so I canuse it when I holiday there
The one on the left is the new one slightly heavier and taller. Cost £73 I got it for £45.99 Is a (Velbon) Sherpa 200R. Is tubular mostly metal and very sturdy. No spirit level. The centre shaft can be inserted (as pic shows) for Macro shooting
The one on the right is my original (Hama) Gamma 72 has a braces on the legs and a spirit level. Wind up centre shaft . (I like this one best) was £39.99 when I bought it about 5 years ago but can be bought for £15.99 not as High 130mm (5ft)
Just thought I'd show you.
Just found this URL Velbon Tripods
I also Bought this backpack bag . It will be fine for bike rides. I don't fancy my camera bouncing about in a rack bag. But all my other bits n pieces can go in the rack bag. It takes my camera and camcorder. Cards and batteries in one side pocket. And drink in the other side pouch and things in the and which I need most handy
I'll be able to go for longer distances
Forgot it also has a little pocket at the bottom with a pull out pocket for the tripod egs and you can see the strap that secures the tripod
And last but not least my new bike. And a new Gell saddle covers. Nice and comfy too
Here is my new bike. There are 21 and 4 different levers so it was a little confusing and I must have played God Save the Queen 5 times before getting the hang of the different gear levers. My camera is in the small backpack
And mbike with the rack bag fitted. You cansee haow the side pocket extends into a pannier
