    Love that second photo, Beryl!

    Coal Tits are among my favourite birds - especially when the young appear! In Ayr, we often had Coal Tits in the nest boxes, and I always loved when the fledglings crowded, cheeping, on to the pine tree and tumbled all over the branches, searching for insects to eat!
