This woodland reserve is situated adjacent to Greenham common and is the largest of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust woodland reserves.
Spent an hour or so on a circular walk this morning and although I didn't get many photos, I thoroughly enjoyed it, was a bit testing on my bad knee though, as the walk descends into and climbs out of the valley, at present the wood is awash with Snowdrops.
Was following a couple of Long-tailed Tits in the branches above.
Some small bird activity in the canopy caught my eye and I managed a couple of quick shots of a Goldcrest.
Towards the end of the walk, I encountered a Roe Deer Buck and enjoyed a staring out session, but as soon as I lifted the camera he was off.
Can't wait to go back in Spring to capture some Butterfly and Dragonfly photos.
