Default Crow in the Tree tops

Went out for a long walk this afternoon and if it hadn't been for this chap up in the tree top, would actually have come back with no photos whatsoever. Very seldom have I been on a walk and seen less birds.

No shortage of Wood Pigeons though.

Having said that, at least I was able to give my new binoculars a good field test.

They're the Vanguard LDT 10x42SE special edition Pete, really pleased with the performance.

The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Thanks Babs, yes he did, but due to illness I was unable to try it out on the Fieldfare orchard. Hopefully be able to put it into action in the next week or so.
