Captured on a sunny day at Bowling Green marsh
The bird looks like it may be ringed Beryl unless I'm seeing things but whats red that apppears to be on it's left leg?

I have only just noticed it . I'll have a look through the originals if I can find them a I think I took a few shots
I looked just this minute and thought "They don't have orange feet do they ?"
I really don't know. Zooming in doesn't do anything either Those are the only two photos of that bird . There the bushes were full of them. It could be s bud , but at this time of year I wouldn't think so. I captured them on the 3/12/2008.

Yes you could be right Beryl it doesn't really look all that convincing but just wondered. It would have been very interesting if it had have been ringed. By the way, don't forget the ringed Sandwich Tern in the summer is still in the pipeline as I submitted it to the BTO...... just keep watching this space!
