Well they'll come to cardboard if you throw it at them but soon fly off when they find its not edible. Immaculate creatures though.

A very nice shot indeed however the ones on the North Pier at Blackpool prefer chips and take them out of the bag too, I thought I had a photo of my own but cannot find it
Yes, I've seen this 'taking chips out of the bag' at Llandudno in Wales. They apparently can be a pest if not a danger people were telling us there and that's quite understandable as they are not known as gentle birds by any stretch of the imagination.
