    Default Barn Owl Trust

I have just found this great webcam for , yep, Barn Owls. I have just been looking at it - and despite it being daytime they do look around a lot and do move quite a bit. It's not as good as seeing them flying but you do get to take a reasonably close look at them. Beautiful creatures

On the site is also some identification details including calls.. which if you are searching for them in the wild it's very useful in the dark.

Has anyone seen an owl in the wild and which sort? When I was a kid I saw some tawny owls, but nothing recently. Mind you, I've not been out looking so no great surprise really!

BTW the webcam is actually hosted by http://www.thewebbroadcastingcorporation.com/ which also include a couple of cams for the Slimbridge Wildfowl Wetlands Trust (amongst other wildlife stuff) ...although they weren't working when I looked.
