    Default A hundred and six

Six Black-tailed Godwits in their brilliant summer red plumage, about one hundred Knot, and a Black-headed Gull having a wash and brush up at Leighton Moss in the summer months.

Nice capture Pete, just been watching a programme with thousands of Knot, moving in concert, an amazing sight.

Yes, the figure of 30,000 at Heysham Harbour one year recently comes to mind but can't be sure about the accuracy of this but if it's incorrect the figure was even more rather than less than this. As you say Rolf an impressive sight watching these birds wheeling around the skies.
