I will never forget.
This is just a small part of the efect it had on our wildlife . It devistated me as I watched in awe. I had to take some action.

Me too - I hate seeing wildlife in fear, pain and danger due to human activity, and in cases like these it involves so many. It must have been horrible to witness it in the raw rather than through the safety net of the tv or camera

Always a great shame when something like this happens, what amazes me is how resilient the bird population can be though, so there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

There was for this little chap. the RSPCA had a specisal beanch just for this and the insector was straight out looking for it on reciving my phone call.
