This picture I took is of a really neat little duck that seems to be large in numbers over here but you never get tired of looking at them. They are small and cute.

They are pretty birds in black and white, you can see they are a sililar shape to NZ

Yes, the Scaup does have a structure which seperates it from the similar Tufted Duck in particular the female 'Tufty' though she has a tuft as her name suggests.
