These pics were taken out the windows of my workplace on 20th December last year. Two days of temperatures down to -10C but with no wind at all allowed thick hoarfrost to build up on everything in the area. It was incredibly beautiful in the sun.
And a couple more. My favourite one is the one with the church in shot.

Im incredibly lucky to live and work in such a beautiful area. The Scottish Borders really are the undiscovered country as far as Scotland is concerned - 99% of all the tourists go tearing through none stop on their way to Edinburgh or the Highlands, and miss some of the best bits. However it means this is a lovely quiet area and no-one bothers us in our little farm cottage
And I never tire of looking out of the windows even when its pouring with rain - theres always something new to look at
