    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Aren't they colourful, blue on the top and orange on the bottom of the wings, nice image Beryl, good reference shot for ID purposes

    Yes. Thank you Babs. The female has blue on top but Orange-ish fringes round the upper wings
