    Default Sparrow hawk?

I think it's a sparrow hawk (please correct me if it isn't)- it was trying to eat the sparrows in the bush it landed on and flew into.

I couldn't find my camera quick enough last time.

There were a few other "better shots" with the face square head on to the camera but they weren't quite in focus.

Excellent series of images of the Sparrowhawk Mark......I'm even pleased myself that you got your camera in time on this occasion.

The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
