    Default Wild Flower.

    Just an everyday shot of an everyday wild flower, trouble is I'm pretty hopeless with this subject but can tell you it was in a damp wooded area......Help!

    Asked the Oracle and she reckons it is Ajuga reptans - Bugle.

    This site would appear to confirm that.

    You are a star Rolf.

    Though I was wrong I won't hide the fact I would have guessed Skullcap......same family (mint) and requires the same habitat needs (damp/wet ground). Thanks for this Rolf, nothing worse than seeing something you can't id.

    Absolutely correct there Rolf, and I really did intend the post to read 'You're a star Rolf (or should that be the Oracle is?).
