Captured in a conifer by the Exmouth brook
Crumbs Beryl, were you on the same branch.
Almost. It has to be a male.He was calling and Completely oblivious to me , I was about 3 feet away Then he jumped up a branch hence the blue sky. I just couldn't believe it I was that close and I must have taken , let me see yep .I took 76 shots most were good like above and a couple of his rear
Wow Beryl, lucky you getting so close, excellent shots and some of the faces that he is pulling on some of them is superb
Thank you Babs
He is so cute. I was so pleased. I just kept shooting

excellent beryl... i've found you can get very close to goldcrests... but the trouble is, they never keep still.. always flitting about. i dont think i could capture one digiscoping, as i do.
p.s.with the latin name regulus regulus, i should thinks its diet must contain plenty of fibre
Maybe that is why they are never still
