If iv'e pressed all the right keys you should all be able to see a Sparrowhawk taken from the Allen Hide at Leighton Moss last year.

Well I did press all the right keys with an excellent result. Congratulations to all concerned with the running of this website. I have already noted the ease with which 'things' can be done here......congratulations once again.

They are amazingly powerful little Hawks, I managed to film a male stuck in my garden shed last summer and watching the down force of his wings was an education.

I go along with 'stunning' as a description for the Sparrowhawks eyes andy. But every time I see one perched like this I always feel if I was a small bird staring this creature in the eye then that alone would be enough to frighten me to death. I prefer to call the eyes of this bird....EVIL.
