    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    two great spotted woodpeckers came to the feeding station at marton mere blackpool, today. here are afew shots of one of these cracking birds.

    lovely. It's the eyes of these birds make them look comical with out the colouration

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Excellent images andy, I love how they hold their tails whilst holding on to the feeder.

    thanks you can see where his tail is dirty, with the constant rubbing against the tree trunk, as he steadies himself
