Default Identifying male and female Goldfinches

I thought I would upload this pair of goldfinch as a reference to their difference in sex.
The male and the female look very similar they both have red faces. The male being more vivid and the colour surrounding more of his eyes than the female and also the red area under the beak is further down on the throat and the female is slightly lighter.
The fifth photo is a juvenile.
Juvenile reveals yellow on wings in flight but has head and body plumage greyish-brown, spotted and streaked brown, until autumn moult
