Nice shot Babs, put a Mahonia in a year or so ago, it is now starting to produce the flowers, hopefully it will attract the birds as well, the one they cut down next door, used to attract Blackcaps.

The Mohonia is a lovely tree, I have noticed that the blue tits like it after the rain I think they are drinking the water droplets of it, brings some nice colour to your pic too. I have only ever had one blackcap in my garden one Saturday morning it sat in one of the bushes for a few minutes and then it flew off never to be seen again
