There is a very interesting series of calls coming from the reedbeds at the Villebon lake, I think there are probably five or more species heard in this clip.
Lovely and clear . Chiffchaff Robin/wren and The others might be might be reed warblers

There is definitely a Chiffchaff, plus a Wren and Black Cap, but what is more interesting is the sound in the background, could well be Frogs.

The frogs in this clip turned out to be the Edible Frog, Pelophylax kl. esculentus Reptiles & Amphibians of France - Edible frog, Pelophylax kl. esculentus the audio clip is towards the bottom of the page, just hover over the button.

When we stayed in the Dordogne area once, there was a large pond of these outside the local restaurant!!!
But at least the frogs legs would have been really fresh
