Default Stone Curlew at Cernay, france

Spotted a couple of large birds flying over one of the nearby fields with striking markings, same sort of size as a medium raptor, had not seen a Stone Curlew in flight, or indeed at at all, so was delighted when confirming my sighting. Not great photos and taken at distance, but fine for a positive id.

Default Yellowhammer at Le Point du Jour.

Managed to watch this one by crouching behind a small bridge, got some funny looks from the odd driver who passed.

Whilst waiting to try and catch a peek at what I believe to be Cirl Buntings, this Hare decided to loiter nearby, didn't seem too bothered with me being in sight.

What great photos, Rolf! That first one certainly warrants framing!
