Here is a new fresh question ! Name the Bird lol
Love the video, Crister!:)
- Though I might be too young to remember ever hearing it before....;)
(Going to check 'shrikes' now...:conf40:)
Come on Catherine, waiting.:)
How unlike you, Rolf, but greatly appreciated!;)
Eh'm - Great Grey Shrike - Lanius excubitor
I think! :)
Sorry but I just forgot to mail me the answers so it will have to wait. It will soon be Monday again-back to work and that file
I think it's the Lesser Grey Shrike, Lanius minor, as it appears to have a larger black head stripe.
So that's why you waited, Rolf!:(
And I thought you were just being kind to me.:-hbang
As I was Catherine.:)
Beeing a Gentleman as always
Svartpannad törnskata Lesser Grey Shrike Lanius minor
Well done both I say
This Monday bird is (I think) one of Rolfs fav birds :D
Certainly is, although I have so many favourites, almost includes everything.:) I think this one is a Whinchat, Saxicola rubetra.
Sure is Rolf
Buskskvätta Whinchat Saxicola rubetra :D
Well done !
Here is a new bird, I am sure it will be a piece of cake :D
Looks like it could perhaps be a Sedge Warbler, Acrocephalus schoenobaenus.
Of course it is
Sävsångare Sedge Warbler Acrocephalus schoenobaenus
Soon it will be Monday again:D
Monday bird ! Sunny today so it will be a sunny bird :D
Goldon Plover Pluvialis apricaria maybe?
Sorry got very busy today so I can not (really) say yes or no but I hope we can have a second opinion in this matter.
Think it is a "look-a-like" but not a Golden Plover.....
Pectoral Sandpiper - Calidris melanotos?
That´s more like it, so close so I give it a Well Done !
Kärrsnäppa Dunlin Calidris alpina
Time for a Monday bird as usually every Monday:D
One of the prettiest of the Thrush family, the Redwing, Turdus iliacus.:)
Indeed !
Rödvingetrast Redwing Turdus iliacus
Very good looking bird, a nice red wing as well
Well done !
Here is a Wednesday bird for You all
I'm going to try Meadow Pipit - Anthus pratensis
(Though no doubt Rolf will guess one of the other Pipits and prove me wrong!:crying:)
:D I am sure he will
Ok then - before he does...
what about Tree Pipit - Anthus trivialis?:)
Well, it is not that trivial lol
Notice the color......
Notice the colour....?
Olive-backed Pipit?:conf40:
:D I has a colored name :D but I must confess that it is more olive than it´s name.
and You are very close so gimme a right color and the bird is named
Sorry, Crister...:(
I have looked at Rosy Pipits, Golden Pipits, Yellow Pipits, American (or buff-bellied) Pipits, Water Pipits and even searched for 'pink pipits', but I cannot find one to match your lovely little bird!
She has the same pink legs as a meadow Pipit, but is very heavily streaked.
Maybe I should (very grudgingly) step aside for Rolf?......:014:
So, no red ones ?
Rödstrupig piplärka Red-throated Pipit Anthus cervinus :)
Yes I got to the Red-throated Pipit to - File:Red-throated Pipit.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
but the one in your pic didn't look like it - and no pics of one showed pink legs.:(
Maybe yours is a young one though?
Beautiful bird anyway!:)
At last - Monday again :)
Looks like a Spotted Flycatcher. :) Miscicapa striata.
Sure does !
Grå flugsnappare Spotted Flycatcher Muscicapa striata
InSweden we call this one Gray and the other one Black. I have 2 black visiting my place every year(well that was my other, old place) in this new house we have two doves resting on the aerial:eek:
Got this bird and as usually I can´t remember what it is. So, need some help here :D
Oh, that's a juvenile Goldfinch - Carduelis carduelis
Such pretty, colourful little birds, and sweet singers too!
Good to see You back online again

Steglits European Goldfinch Carduelis carduelis:D
