Well that's if it's correct of course.:)

Well that's if it's correct of course.:)
May be a young bird but in no way it is a Redwing
No one translated the Kaffegök ?
Gök is a bird :D
From Wikipedia:
http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaffeg%C3%B6k]Kaffekask - Wikipedia
Think they can translate it for You all:bang:
I think I've heard of Kaffegok - a sort of Irish Coffee? - but it also means Cuckoo, doesn't it?
Now that's no Cuckoo, or I'm Irish - and I'm definitely not!:)
So now I am going to try Fieldfare (juv. - as it doesn't have a grey head) - but why has it got red eye patches?:conf40:
OK, so I'm wrong again, but I'm trying very hard!:)
Yes, some kind of Irish coffee but no cream in it and no wisky - You use only vodka.
Here how to do it the Swedish way :D
Put a silver coin in the mug, full half with hot coffee and then You pour vodka in it until You can see the coin
Now back to business: Sorry but No again
Tips-this is a little bird:)
Really scraping the barrel now, is it perhaps a Reed Bunting juvenile - Emberiza schoeniclus?
Must be more in the barrel Rolf as this is close but not exact.
My last tip is still standing : It is a little bird !
What about Lesser Redpoll - Carduelis cabaret - then?
Well, it's in the shade, so it's hard to see the red bits - maybe......
Well, I said that Rolf was close but not exact:D
Also did I include a small hint, it is a small bird:eek:
So, why not put all this together - excluding what was wrong in Rolf´s answer and then.... it is there - infront of You all:thumbsup:
:conf40:  :-doh = the answer:)
OK, how about Pallas's Reed Bunting, (smaller than the common Reed Bunting) - Emberiza pallasi?
Think I need to put a better picture on display :)
Well, I can't see a Bunting with red patches round its eyes and dark bill like that, so I'm going for Woodlark - Lullula arborea
(Crister, I DID mention the reddish eye patches before though, so can't I even get half a point?;))
Ah, didn't take your clue literally enough.:) Little Bunting - Emberiza pusilla, not one we get here.:)
It's lovely! Never even heard of it - and it didn't come up in searches...:(
Well done, Rolf! (Says she grudgingly!;))
You should always read my hints:D
Dvärgsparv Little Bunting Emberiza pusilla
In Swedish it is called dwarf:eek:
But I do, Crister, I DO!
I'm just too thick perhaps.... :014:
We will see about that in the future:D
Here is a new fresh bird....
Well, since I'm still on the site...
How about a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (juv.) - Dendrocopos minor ?
Looks like it is well spotted if You ask me !
HINT (Think You need it!)
Look at the feet (a typical Chris hint)
Nice clue Chris, it looks like a Three-toed Woodpecker - Picoides tridactylus, don't get them here.:)
Why is that ? They don´t like English or ??? Too rainy ?
The tree branches are too big for three toes.;)
OKI I understand :-HaHaHa
Tretåig hackspett Three-toed Woodpecker Picoides tridactylus
We have smaller trees here :D
Didn't get them up in Scotland, Crister, so they can't have liked the Scots either - even though there are trees of every size up there!:014:
(Big hint - England is only one part of Britain - and if they rolled Scotland flat, it would be LOTS bigger!:D Only, no-one would DARE try!;) )
'Three-toed Woodpecker'...... Hrr-umph!:( (In the huff.)
Monday again !
A new question, of course
I wonder what Schwitzerland would be if they flatten it out lol
Scotland was, originally, a piece of Northern America. So they should speak US English up there.
Have a friend there so I know what they say about England......
Can't find a small owl with such deep yellow eyes....:(
Will try again tomorrow...
(BTW, was it not that the US was once part of Scotland? I feel you may have been mislead by an American there!;))
Yes, have a new try.
Of course it was Scotland that broke away from America and Loch Ness is the proof
I think it may be a Pygmy Owl - Glaucidium passerinum.
Yes it is !
Sparvuggla Eurasian Pygmy Owl Glaucidium passerinum
A really small bird for beeing an owl:D
Think this bird is more common in the UK:)
Well, I'm going to keep you busy by guessing this one quickly, Crister!:D
Great Grey Shrike - Lanius excubitor
(I've never seen one though......:()
Good guess
and correct !
Varfågel Great Grey Shrike Lanius excubitor
So it is time for a new bird:)
It looks pretty much like a male Blackcap - Sylvia atricapilla.
Could be but is not :D
Hint !!!
Far from snow:bang:
Sardinian Warbler - Sylvia melanocephala?
(Didn't think the above was too like Blackcap - but not sure it's like this one either...:conf40:)
Hmmm, I think Rolf knows but he want to give You a try
Anyway, it is not a Sardinian read the Hint ! a typical C hint - sometime You all need a hint how to understand my hints but this one is crystal clear !!!
Well, Crister, I thought that Sardinia was 'far from snow'.:(
How do you know Rolf has the answer? Have you told him?;)
Will think more on your 'C hint' and trawl Google again then..... :)
Think color not distance, like yin and yang
