Well done Rolf. :)
I did think of that one but couldn't see the crossed bill.
Here is a little fellow that is (looks like) freezing :)

Is it a Yellow-browed Bunting - Emberiza chrysophrys?
Yes Sir it is
a Gulbrynad sparv Emberiza chrysophrys
Poor one, sitting out in this cold weather:13:
BTW it is more than rare - this is the first time it has been seen in Sweden. When the word about the bird spread over 400 birdwatchers got together just outside Stockholm, just to have a look at it. Reports tells that there where visitors from Denmark I was surprised that You know that bird Rolf.
Here is a more common bird
Ringneck Dove- Streptopelia risoria ?
Halfway there Chocky
It´s a dove allright but not a risoria :):014:

Probably Rolf I wastorn between the two . The colour made me choose the Ring neck #
I'll go for the Ringneck - Streptopelia capicola ?
Well, it was Rolf that found the bird

Probably is Rolf. I can't really see it well enough. The colour made me think of Quail
Rapphöna Perdix perdix is what it is
Next one is a strange bird :), well strange and strange, but not that common.
Looks like a Ring Ouzel Chris, not seen one myself, but it's on my list.:) Turdus torquatus
Stepping in before Chris again (sorry Chris) correct Rolf, a male.
Pete.
Yes to both of You
It is a Ringtrast Turdus torquatus and it is a male
Well done again.
From now on I might put up some not so common birds for You guys as I find You good in naming whatever I try.
Let us see if I can make You dizzy :) for a while.
Like this mighty bird :)
Golden Eagle - Aquila chrysaetos ?
No, this one is not golden :)
Well it isn't one we'd be likely to see anywhere in the UK, doing a little research comes up with the Lesser Spotted Eagle Aquila pomarina.
White-Tailed Eagle- Haliaeetus albicilla ?
Sorry but No. :conf40: to both of You
How about the Spotted Eagle then? Aquila clanga?
That´s more like it :)
Större skrikörn (Aquila clanga)
There is a smaller Eagle in this family (
Mindre skrikörn (Aquila pomarina)
But this one was the bigger version, well done again Rolf :D
This time I am asking for the more colorfull bird in this picture:)
Well I can only find one Goose which looks like that, the Red-breasted Goose - Branta ruficollis. :) Not a regular visitor to the British Isles as far as I know, not that regular in Sweden either I would imagine.
I would say definitely Rolf.Well done :)
Yes it is (Rednecked Goose) Branta ruficollis Rödhalsad gås
